Good 'ol times
Last Friday, we had a mini-semi reunion with my college friends. Mini, because it was only a part of our typical catch 2000-S14 reunion that we used to have. Semi, because the barkada was not complete. We were short one barkada because she had to work really, really late; oh well, maybe next time. Anyway, me, Doths, Jonki, Chelle and her sister Kaye met up in Makati for dinner and videoke. At first we were planning to watch a movie, but suddenly changed plans because I wanted to hear the crazzzyyy voice of Jonki. According to Doths, she mimicks the voice of the artist, and when she heard her sing, she was laughing out loud and rolling on the floor. So I was excited to hear her sing.
For dinner, as usual we ate at Recipes, this is the favorite restaurant of Jonki. Whenever we meet up in Makati, she always makes sure that we eat here. Doths and I wanted to try a new restaurant but since Jonki just had the chicken pox a couple of weeks ago, we gave in to her cravings. Also, this is Chelle's first time to eat at Recipes. We ordered the usual gising-gising and general's chicken. We also ordered the shanghai rolls and the mixed seafood, which is a must-try in that resto! We had a very sumptuous dinner and it was even more sumptuous because our resident birthday girl treated us. Yahoo! (nakakarami na kong libre kay Doths! mwahahahahahaha Thanks Doths! Sa uulitin at uulitin pa!)
After dinner, Jonki and I wanted to get dessert but we hesitated because we wanted to preserve our voices for later. But the heat of the night got to us so off we went to Cold Rock for some delicious ice cream!!!! Yey!
We tried to get a room at Red Box but it was full so we opted to go to Platinum instead. We sang our hearts there without inhibitions whatsoever, kahit na ang tono mo eh parang naiipit ka na sa pinto, go lang!!! I now have a favorite song that Jonki and I have to sing everytime we go to a videoke place, the song is "We Didn't Start the Fire"! Bwahahahaha It was a blast singing that with her!
